 |
New Ebenezer Baptist Church of Castor, LA, carried a group down to Tekax from November 18 - 25, 2008, to do construction work on the orphanage YEA is building there. We had hoped to complete the orphanage but it now looks like it will be somewhere between April and June, 2009, before the orphanage is completed. God blessed our efforts and we were able to get all the roofing completed. A very special blessing on this mission was the opportunity to baptize 15 new brothers and sisters from Akil and Tekax.
